We know you’re probably busy hot-gluing the pipe cleaners on your cracklin’ Blue Lantern Flash cosplay getup for New York Comic Con, but stop long enough to take a gander at the gams on this gill: Mera’s got a real good handle on this monarchy business…until an unwanted visitor makes landfall in Little Atlantis. Anime-style versions of Big Barda and White Canary show up as well in solo stories.

This issue’s written by the never-disappointing team of Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray, who have made a storied career out of finding intrigue in the more esoteric corners of the DC Universe. Steven Cummings draws a richly detailed world, and Randy Mayor’s colors are exceptional.

This is the final issue so get it while the reimagining’s good!
