If you ever wanted to live out your Tron fantasy, consider going to the Netherlands, where the highway of the future glows in the dark, warns you of dangerous weather, It’s all powered by wind (and passing , because the Dutch sure love them some windmills. The lights detect approaching cars and shut off in dormant periods, saving power and reducing light pollution.
Electric car running low on power? Pull over into the special lane, and charge it up via induction–which we thought was a religion, but is apparently something to do with &^(%ing magnets (how do they work?)
