It turns out sleeping in your car is a lot more complicated than popping back the seats and trying not to wake up in agony, because–ugh, cars are terrible to sleep in. But if you do have to pull over and draw some Zs, for crying out loud, make sure you follow Guy Code’s advice to stay warm, out of prison, and able to drive away in the morning. The first rule? Don’t park on top of a flagpole. Nobody ever got any sleep in a car balanced on top of a flagpole.
