Here are things we love: Batman, evil twins, parallel earths, and dystopian futures. The latest issue of Justice League Beyond 2.0 has all of those things and more! Here, the evil twins aren’t so much run-of-the-mill nemeses like Reverse Flash or Venom, but your rarer strain of doppelganger who commits evil in the pursuit of the higher good.

That’s right, kids, we’ve got ourselves a good, old-fashioned “Ends justify the means” vs. “Cling to your principles” battle! And as is often the case, the difference is that something terrible happened to drive one group to take extreme measures. You’ve seen it before in Injustice: Gods Among Us, and Kingdom Come, and you’ll see it again in this awesome preview below, as the Justice League takes on the Justice Lords, their twins from an Earth where the Flash’s death turned the team more extreme. And since this takes place in the future, we’re looking at an unusual specimen of a diagonal earth from the DC continuity you know and love.

JUSTICE LEAGUE BEYOND 2.0, Chapter 19 will be available for download on Saturday on the DC Comics app and readdcentertainment.com, but will also be available on comiXology.com, Google Play, iBookstore, Kindle Store, and the Nook Store.

Too…much…awesome! Heart…fluttering…

Dude, are you going to just stand there and let him do that to you?

Is this flirtation?

Yep, it’s flirtation. So their kids are going to be Thanagarian, surface-dwelling Atlanteans?
